Physician Fee Schedule

An updated physician’s fee schedule and key have been posted to the department’s Web site at <http://www.hfs.illinois.gov/feeschedule/>. The pricing associated with two of the most commonly billed modifiers (TC and 26) has been added to the fee schedule. The other modifiers required for processing of the claim and determination of the appropriate reimbursement rate will be added to the next fee schedule update. To keep information current, the fee schedule will be updated on a quarterly basis and placed on the department’s Web site by the second month of each quarter. The fee schedule is available in two formats, a printable report or a text-delimited file.

 

Providers wishing to receive e-mail notification, when new provider information is posted by the department, may register at the following HFS Web site at:

Electronic claim submission via the Internet is available by registering on the department’s Medical Electronic Data Interchange, Internet Electronic Claims (MEDI/IEC) System: <http://www.myhfs.illinois.gov/>. The MEDI/IEC System is available to enrolled providers and their authorized staff, claim submitting agents and payees. During the registration process, you will be given access to specific claim formats based upon your enrollment status with the department.
