Re: Announcement of the Handbook for Providers of Therapy Services - Availability on the Internet

The Department is releasing Chapter J-200: the Handbook for Providers of Therapy Services. This is a new handbook for all providers who receive payment from the Department for physical, occupational or speech therapy services. The release of this handbook obsoletes the Handbook for Physical Therapy, Handbook for Occupational Therapy and the Handbook for Speech and Language Services. The new handbook, in conjunction with the Handbook for Providers of Medical Services, Chapter 100: General Policy and Procedures, contains information necessary for providers to receive payment from the Department for therapy services. Providers are encouraged to review the handbook in its entirety.

The Handbook for Provider of Therapy Services, Chapter J-200, is available on the Department's website at <http://www.dpaillinois.com/handbooks/>. It is in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). In order to view or print the documents, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available to download FREE from the Adobe homepage at <http://www.adobe.com>. Printed copies are available upon written request.
