August 7, 2026

This notice informs providers of an update involving Focalin XR (dexmethylphenidate extended-release) capsules on the Illinois Medicaid Preferred Drug List (PDL).

The manufacturer of brand-name Focalin XR capsules has discontinued production effective immediately. This change will apply to Fee-For-Service (FFS) and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs).
