This notice provides recommendations on the use of Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) 50,000 international units (IU). The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) and Illinois HFS Fee-For-Service (FFS) Drug Utilization Review Board are informing FFS program providers and pharmacists of updates from the Endocrine Society. Information on the 2024 Endocrine Society guidelines and guideline summary can be found on the DUR website.
