This coverage is required under Public Act 104-0009 requires coverage of choline supplements during pregnancy for customers covered under the Medicaid fee-for-service program and managed care organizations (MCOs). The fee-for-service program currently covers choline supplements; no coverage changes are necessary. HFS will coordinate with all contracted MCOs to ensure appropriate coverage by no later than January 1, 2026.
