Rate Increase for Children’s Community-Based Health Care Centers Effective January 1, 2025 |
Effective January 1, 2025, under Public Act 103-0593, Children’s Community-Based Health Care Centers established under the Alternative Health Care Delivery Act providing nursing care for the purpose of transitioning children from hospital to home placement or other appropriate setting have received a rate increase to $1,300 per day.
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services will adjust all previously paid claims. All future claims will be paid at the lesser of the Center’s usual and customary charges, or the $1,300 rate. This will impact fee-for-service (FFS) billing only.
